The 8th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum, jointly organized by China International Contractors Association and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, was held in Macao from June 1st to June 2nd. CREC delegation including CRIG and other subsidiaries led by President Zhang Zongyan attended the Forum. COVEC general manager Huang Yi, deputy general manager Li Jingtao and general manager of COVEC Macau Wang Zhongqiu were invited to attend the Forum.
This Forum is based on the theme “Build Multi-Innovation, Industry Linkage and Sustainable Infrastructure”. More than 1700 people including 57 ministerial government officials, 32 international financial institutions, and several ENR250 contractors, international consultants, equipment manufacturers and industrial chain enterprises from 63 countries and areas were invited to attend the Forum.
During the Forum, COVEC general manager Huang Yi, deputy general manager Li Jingtao and staff from COVEC Macau had conduct a series of pragmatic and effective business activities. They visited the relevant officials from China International Contractors Association and reported on COVEC’s current development and operation situation. CHINCA leaders affirmed COVEC’s achievements in Central and Eastern Europe. The delegation reached a strategic cooperation consensus with ARUP leader on Libya Reconstruction and Malta Project, and reached consensus with FOTON and China Design Group on future strategic cooperation. The delegation also carried a friendly talk with our partner Japan Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Macao branch during the meeting break and hope to further strengthen cooperation in Macao and surrounding areas to achieve win-win development.
Great achievements had been made during this Forum, which will have positive and profound impact on COVEC future business development.
