On July 27 local time, the Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project in Nepal, undertaken by COVEC as the EPC contractor and jointly executed by COVEC and China Railway No.2 Group Co., Ltd., successfully passed the final acceptance inspection by Nepal’s Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation. The project received the Taking-Over Certificate (TOC), marking another significant achievement in China-Nepal water resources cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. This milestone provides strong impetus for Nepal’s agricultural modernization and energy structure optimization.
