From 13th November to 16th November local time, Li Hong,  secretary of the party committee and chairman of COVEC, went to Bosnia and Herzegovina to carry out a series of business activities. He conducted a research on market development, compliance management, regional company construction, etc., and inspected  and guided the work of  COVEC Central and Eastern Europe Regional headquarters .  

On November 14th, Li Hong called on the President of the Bosnian Republic of Srpska, Dodik, and Prime Minister, Viskiloci. The two sides had full communication on the infrastructure development and key projects of the Bosnian Republic of Srpska, and reached a broad consensus. After the meeting, the two sides exchanged souvenirs and signed postcards to wish a future win-win cooperation between the two sides.

On November 16, Li Hong called on Chinese Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ji Ping and Commercial Counselor Gai Guoqiang. Li Hong expressed his gratitude to the embassy and the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office, for their care and support to COVEC, and introduced the progress of COVEC's key projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador said that CREC is one of the largest construction contractors in the world and he warmly welcomed the CREC and COVEC's team to Bosnia and Herzegovina. He hopes that COVEC will complete its institutional registration as soon as possible to join the China Enterprises Association  in Bosnia and Herzegovina, integrate into the local market as soon as possible, effectively prevent risks, and actively fulfill the company's social responsibilities.

On 15th November, Li Hong attended COVEC Central and Eastern Europe Regional Company research symposium. At the meeting, Li Hong focused on the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and held a discussion with all employees of the Central and Eastern Europe Regional  company.

During his work in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Li Hong held talks with Jiang Huijie, deputy general manager of China Construction Bank (Europe) Warsaw Branch, and his local partners. The two sides reached a number of consensus on the development of bank-enterprise cooperation in the Central and Eastern European market. In addition, Li Hong led a delegation to conduct on-site inspections of key highway project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and met with the Bosnian Republic of Srpska Expressway Company, and made a in-depth communication on the advancement of key projects.
