On the morning of 9th November, CREC held the 2022 compliance management meeting in its Beijing headquarters.
After the meeting, Li Hong, Secretary of the party committee and chairman of COVEC, gave instructions on implementing the spirit of the meeting and further strengthening the company's compliance management. First, the entire company must fully understand the current complex situation of overseas compliance. Second, the company must have a deep understanding of the significance of fulfilling a good job in overseas compliance management. We must always bear in mind that COVEC has the mission to lead and carry the overseas market development and has the responsibility and obligation to maintain the image of the joint-stock company and the country. COVEC needs to develop, but it must be high-quality and sustainable development. Only compliant development can achieve steady and long-term development. Third, the company must further strengthen the company's compliance management. Li Hong emphasized that it is necessary to do a good job in the compliance management of key areas and important procedures. Especially in terms of multilateral bank-funded projects and overseas anti-corruption, it is necessary to strictly follow the requirements of joint-stock company to carry out business, strengthen prevention and control beforehand. The main leaders of overseas regional companies must check in person and prevent indulging.
