In the past few days, the representative of the consortium formed by COVEC and China Railway No.4 signed the EPC contract for the electrification project in Kenge City and its surrounding areas with the governor of Kwango Province,DRC . The project owner is the government of Kwango Province. The project content mainly includes the construction of a new 90km 220kv single circuit high-voltage line, one 220/33kV - 30 MVA high-voltage substation and the connection between the substation and the transmission network. The contract period is 24 months.
