On July 14, local time, Nepal's Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project  Headrace Tunnel Section, constructed by COVEC, once again received a letter of appreciation from Nepal's Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, highly praising the progress achieved in the project since the commencement of construction.
The letter expressed that since the project management team entered the site, it has advanced the construction work in an orderly manner and completed the construction of TBM launching platform, concealed tunnel, aggregate quarry, administration office, labor accommodation, tunnel segment factory and test laboratory with high quality and efficiency, which greatly promoted the TBM assembling and tunnel segment production. The letter fully affirmed the project team's tunnel segment design concept and its construction technology, and expressed appreciation to the project management team for the positive attitude, professionalism and milestones achieved in their work.
