On 8th April, Bheri Babai Diversion Multipurpose Project Headrace Tunnel Section in Nepal contracted by COVEC was officially issued with the Performance Certificate by the Employer, the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, which indicates that COVEC had successfully fulfilled all its contractual obligations within the agreed Project Duration and Defects Notification Period, and the project had been fully taken over and recognized by the Employer. Therefore, COVEC has fulfilled its obligation with satisfaction to the Nepalese government and people. 

The smooth implementation of the project is crucial to improve the agricultural output in the region. The irrigation facilities will also benefit the local farmers and greatly promote social and economic development. The project is a good example for Chinese enterprises to actively participate in the construction of " the Belt and Road Initiative" and practice the principle of "Extensive consultation, Joint contribution, Shared benefits". It lays a good foundation to further demonstrating the brand reputation and corporate image of COVEC.
