On 25th March, Ministry of Commerce of China and Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as MI&FTU) jointly hosted  China-Uzbekistan Investment and Cooperation Cloud Forum. Wang Wentao, Chinese Commerce Minister  and Umurzakov, the Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan attended the forum and addressed the opening ceremony. As a representative of Chinese enterprises, Li Hong, Managing Director of COVEC, delivered a speech on the high-quality development of China-Uzbekistan "new infrastructure" cooperation during the seminar. 

In his keynote speech, Li Hong pointed out that as a major force in the field of global infrastructure construction, CREC has participated in the implementation of several projects in Uzbekistan, including the Kamchiq Railway Tunnel Project. As a professional business platform for CREC's overseas business, COVEC is committed to the market development and operation on behalf of CREC in Central and Western Asia, including Uzbekistan. Facing a broader space for cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in the field of new infrastructure, COVEC is willing to take advantage of CREC's long-term accumulation of construction experience and technical advantages to fully participate in the development and cooperation of Uzbekistan's new infrastructure projects in terms of financing, construction and operation, and contribute to Uzbekistan's economic and social development.
