On 13th February, Nepal Khabar, a well-known local online media in Nepal, published a report on Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project Headrace Tunnel Section undertaken by COVEC. In the report, Nepal Khabar fully affirmed the construction progress of project base, TBM launching platform, tunnel segment factory, aggregate quarry and other functional areas since the project team entered the site. Nepal Khabar was also full of confidence and expectation for the subsequent tunnel excavation on the planned schedule. On the same day, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, the former Foreign Minister of Nepal, forwarded the report on his social media platform (Facebook) and highly recognized the phased achievements of the project so far.
