The Renmin Avenue in Anqing City was reopened to traffic on Jan. 25, 2003. The avenue is 1,376 in length and its renovation started on Oct.8 2012. COVEC Anhui subsidiary has well programmed the construction and reopened traffic 5 days ahead of schedule. The project has set a good example for the local urban road construction works such as: civic air defence works, renovation of façades on the avenue and the restoration of pavement works, and also laid a sound foundation for the Anhui subsidiary to explore the general contracting market in future.
