April 7th 2017, Gao Xiang, deputy general manager of COVEC was invited to attend the donation ceremony held at Chinese Embassy in Kenya with the theme "Drought Relief with Great Love". COVEC Kenya actively responded to the Chinese Embassy’s appeal to participate in the drought relief donation activities, and donated 1 million Kenyan Shillings (approximately 67,000 RMB) to help the local people to fight against the drought, and fulfill its social responsibility.
COVEC Kenya has been conducting business in Kenya for nearly 30 years, and has forged profound friendship with local people. Its positive reaction and active participation in the disaster relief activities is exactly a proactive practice of corporate social responsibility.
