| Ambassador’s On-site Visit |

| Mrs. YANG Xiuping, Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, visited the project site in East Sri Lanka and had a meeting with the leadership of COVEC Sri Lanka branch. LIANG Xingyong and ZHU Zhihua briefed the Ambassador about the progress of the project and the subjective, objective reasons for the delay. During the visit, together with the First Secretary, Ambassador expressed her appreciation of the contribution COVEC has made there. Moreover, Ambassador spoke positively about the project and was confident of the completion of it on time. She also laid down some instructions concerning contracting, respect of the locals, good communication skills, etc. |
